Peafowl
I made my public debut as an artist in 1996 when this painting was exhibited at the LEIGH YAWKEY WOODSON ART MUSEUM - BIRDS IN ART in Wausau, Wisconsin. This peafowl lives in the Dreher Park Zoo in West Palm Beach, Florida. Taking a dust bath cleans the feathers and helps to rid a bird of parasites. The late day golden light inspired me to paint this ornate fowl.
