World wide loss of habitat caused by human intervention in natural systems is one of the greatest problems for many
endangered or threatened species. As the "islands" of habitat shrink smaller and smaller, it is as if they are forced to
exist in no more than a drop of water or on an island of earth so small that life can not be sustained. We live on
THIS ISLAND EARTH, and we must never forget that nature always seeks balance and harmony. There must be a
place for all of creation in order to maintain that delicate balance.
