Virtues

This splendid male cardinal came into my back yard to the feeders with his mate. I have witnessed the tender moment when he flys to the feeder, takes a seed, then flys to the fence where the female awaits, and gently places the seed into her beak. The low resolution of the web can not show the finest details contained in the original painting. Water droplets, ladybugs and the light in the eye are all present and make the original a visually rich experience.
