Red Wing Black Bird
Against the rising moon, this male calls out his challenge to any intruders into his domain. He sports his colors and puffs up his size and sings to warn other males that this territory is taken. Other members of this eco-system are welcome to stay and go about their business. The luber grasshopper, the damsel fly and the apple snail are all members of this web of life that is the everglades.
